Problem: While accessing crystal reports from a windows application developed in VS.NET on a machine with Win XP as OS, we get a database logon screen.
Description:
We have developed a windows application in VS.NET. This application contains crystal reports. While making MSI for this application we have included the following msm's for Crystal report:
1. Crystal_Managed2003.msm
2. Crystal_Database_Access2003.msm
3. Crystal_Database_Access2003_enu.msm
4. Crystal_RegWiz2003.msm
5. VC_User_CRT71_RTL_X86_---.msm
6. VC_User_STL71_RTL_X86_---.msm
The MSI was installed on a Win XP machine having VS.NET. On using the application, all the forms worked fine, but while accessing the crystal reports, the user was asked to enter database login id and password in a Database logon screen,which should not have been the case.
NOTE: The database was on a different machine
