Design-time duplication of list items

I'm inheriting from RadioButtonList (MyRadioButtonList)
and have defined a static set of items for the list within
my constructor (i.e. I add "yes" and "no" items in the
MyRadioButtonList constructor). When I first place the
control on the form things look great, but if the designer
performs a reload, the items are duplicated. How do I
prevent this from happening?
