Design view issues in VS 2005

    I have an asp.net website using the standard navigation on the left and main
    content on the right. The main problem is in design view in VS 2005 the
    left navigation overlaps the main content on the right making it difficult
    to use design view to edit a page. any ideas on how to fix this? It
    renders fine in the browser.
