detect local WinXP username in javascript?

Is there a javascript property for reading which user is viewing a
local (C HTML page? I'd like to customize the page depending on
which user views it. (I do know all the user accounts on the machine.)

I hesaitate to use cookies because they can be wiped out so easily
when All History is deleted.
