Detecting Internet Connection?

  1. How can i detect if a user is connected to a newtork or the internet using
    ..Net? are there any examples out there?

    Any Help or links Greatly Appreciated

  2. Not sure what you mean. In an ASP.Net app, a user is a client browser,
    which, if it makes a request to your web, is certainly connected to the
    Internet, or at least to your network.

  3. There are several properties in the System.Net.Sockets Namespace that might
    help with this. Here's a place to start:

    TcpClient.Active Property
