Developing for the Pocket PC

P

Peter Royle

Can someone give a concise answer to this, please:

I have a need to develop an app for the Pocket PC, which will
communicate with another device via the serial port / Bluetooth. I
plan to use Visual Studio.net, but the question is: can I do it using
VB.NET (which I know quite well) or do I have to start wrestling with
C++ or C#?

If the latter, can anyone recommend some good sites or books to get me
started? I know C++, but not the Visual version in VS.NET.

Thanks,

Peter Royle

Peter,
Starting with Visual Studio .NET 2003, you can now use VB.NET or C#
to create Pocket PC applications.

Visual Studio .NET 2003 even includes the Pocket PC Emulator, etc...
