die(reason) equivalent in ASP.NET?

Hello,

Is there an equivalent to die(reason) in ASP.NET?

I have a ValidateData() function that returns a boolean, so instead of

If condition Then Response.Writeline(reason): Return False

I want

If condition Then die(reason)

There may be one, but if not, it's pretty trivial to write your own... I
suspect it would look something like:

public void die(string reason){
Response.Clear();
context.Response.ContentType = "text/html";
Response.StatusCode = 500;
Response.Writeline(reason);
Response.End();
}
