Div absolute positioning: Good pratice?

Is it acceptable to use div positioning to place stuff wherever you
want on the page?

In my opinion, it's pretty sloppy and hard to read and maintain, but
maybe I'm just weird.

I don't know what that is but it's still a terrible example. Basically,
it would look a lot nicer if the CSS was seperate from the HTML.
