DIV or SPAN

Discussion in 'ASP .Net' started by Ralph Krausse, Sep 13, 2004.

  1. Can one drag anything from the Toolbox to the Design screen to add a
DIV or a SPAN element (or a .NET equvilent?) or do you just have to
    type it in yourself.

    Thanks

Use the START button? Then you need CSFastRunII...
A new kind of application launcher integrated in the taskbar!

The "Label" control is implemented using the span tag. The "panel" control
    uses the div tag.

  3. Asp.Net Label is a span and Panel is probably a div. But it is always a good
idea to use html view, it gives you more control. Another good idea is to
use server controls only if it is really necessary. Most of page formatting
can be done with client-side controls.

  4. The Label control actually outputs a SPAN tag.
