dos window size

Carramba

Hi!

How u can declare(?) own window size when someone starts u program?
I mean if I have some application and I want it to have a minimum window
size, how do I do it?

thanx in advance

C

Carramba

That is completely implementation-dependent. Please ask in a DOS
newsgroup.
and once again... if u can change colors I assume u can change the wize of
console...
quiestions is how?

The same way as changing colours, i.e. with system-specific extension
code.

In standard C, there are no such things as "colors" or "windows", so you can
neither change "colors" nor the size of "windows".

Answer is "go ask in one of the comp.os.ms-windows" newsgroups. You do not have
a question about C, you have a question about MSWindows.

You already got an answer. If you don't like it, tough.

And please stop using pointless abbreviations

Rather than posting off-topic issues,
take some time and read through the FAQs

Round here we value topicality. Offtopic posters get told once politely to
post elsewhere, typically with suggestions. Repeat offtopic posts,
especially accompanied with bravado or insults, meet with increased
hostility.

Since the hostility comes from the very people best placed to help the
poster with genuine questions, the poster has now foolishly put themselves
beyond the very help he sought. Thats always a shame.

On a Palm V ?

Sure. With the right interrupt, you can change the screen to a 52
inch widescreen display! It's undocumented, but all you have to do
is *^56j^$x^#o &^%$&^#NO CARRIER

My Palm V will not run DOS or even sync to it.
I remember when DOS was an OS. Now it is a network attack.

Oh yeah? Well *I* remember when DDR was a country instead of a type of
memory!

Children these days... I remember when Yorkshire was a county instead of
a sketch. (I even remember the time when it wasn't, although I didn't
know it at the time.)

Yorkshire has never really been a county. One province of Scotland, one
English dukedom, three ridings, and three counties, and now a swarm of
semicounties, unitary authorities and bits of other counties...

You must be at least 126 years old then ! The ridings were made full
counties in 1888.

Grin. This is horribly offtopic. I'll shut up now.

Brits are weird.

Pudding can mean cake, jello, ice cream, pie, or even pudding.

Yet, Yorkshire pudding is none of these things.
