I coded a javascript "Dragger" object that can drag html elements around,
currently used on a button, like in one of my sites slideshows, used to drag
the popup menu around.
When I try to apply it to an image, the image drags for a bit, then a
"Disallowed" icon appears on the cursor, it looks like the browser is
intercepting what it thinks is an image drag and drop operation. Wrapping
the image in a div makes no difference.
Is there something special I have to do to allow dragging an image
around, like perhaps handling the event from higher up in the tree? (I
only need an IE solution as it is for a webpage I am designing for a toddler
for inhouse use)
