drb ssl name error bug?

    on /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/drb/ssl.rb +183 :

    rescue OpenSSL::SSL::SSLError
    warn("#{__FILE__}:#{__LINE__}: warning: #{$!.message} (#{$!.class})") # if
    verbose
    retry
    end

    verbose is not declared, this couses the drb server to exit if a client does
    not return a certificate.
