Drop down menus

Discussion in 'ASP .Net' started by VB Programmer, Nov 19, 2004.

  1. Anyone have any idea how to implement a drop down menu like this:
    http://pfxtrade.com/about_us.asp (highlight 'Club Rooms')

Links, code samples, etc.. would be great!

    Thanks.

  2. Here are some examples:

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/d...l/vbwlkwalkthroughcreatingwebusercontrols.asp
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/asp.net/?pull=/library/en-us/dnaspp/html/aspnet-buildmenuservercontrol.asp

Or you might consider using a 3rd party menu control such as these:
    http://www.gotdotnet.ca/Demos/WebMenu/
    http://www.solpart.com/techcorner/SolpartMenuHistory.aspx
    http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/hvmenu/index.htm

Another one that I've found to be quite nice is at:

    www.skmmenu.com

It is free, supports all kinds of extra features (including custom
images, javascript, html, style sheets, and role based security display
    control). Hope it helps.
