DropdownList fields in DetailView

I have a DetailView in an update state. Some fields get their values from a
table. Is there a way to generate a dropdown field (e.g. as in datagrid
dropdowncolumn) in Detailview? can you point me to an example?

I am using VS2005Pro ASP2.
