I have a page with a DropDownList that executes a postback when the selected
index is changed and reloads the page with a different set of data (dependent
on the choise.) This works fine, but after a visit to some other page, it
magically stops working and instead of a postback, a javascript "access
denied" error is thrown. The details points to the DropDownLists call to
"__doPostBack".
The only thing I've seen that looks suspicious is the ViewState that is very
long (> 14000 characters) when the javascript error occurs. Can this have
something to do with it?
I really don't know how to tackle this problem, so any help is most welcome!
