Dynamic, Data -Driven Menu

hi,
I need to create a web application with a dynamic, data-
driven menu. When a user logs in to the site, the user
name is validated and the page names and urls that he has
access to will be retrieved also. These pages will be
formed into a menu which will persist during the user's
session.
Is there a way to implement this in the ASP.NET.

Please help, I've looked all over the internet for a
rference but so far I am not successful.
