easy gen 2 and mysql connection

Hi all,

I've downloaded and installed easygen2 and easyphp, but I can't seem to get
it too connect to the mysql database. I've created a new DB with no username
or password (i dont know how to give a DB these things) and i'm using
localhost as my server. I get the message :"Connection failed, database
returned error: #28000Access denied for user "@"localhost'(using
password:NO)"

Please help this clueless newbie!!
