Eclipse 3.2 vs. Eclipse 3.1 / run in background will not work

Hello,
I experienced that I'm not able to do some cvs checkouts or some
checkouts and a build parallel with eclipse 3.2. If I use Eclipse 3.1 I
use the "run in background" option and the things I mentioned are
possible. Has anyone experience the same behaviour or does somebody
knows a solution ?
