i installed eclipse europa(eclipse 3.3 win32) in windows XP(sp2) and
it crashes at startup giving a logfile with access violation .
EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005)
i tried to install eclipse 3.1 in the same drive and it runs without
any problems,letting me in to the workbench etc
i am baffled by this ..can anyone tell me how to solve it?

(i am logged in as admin..but do not know much about changing access
previleges.. when i right click on the installation folder,it shows as
read only ..unsetting thru windows explorer doesn't change status..it
goes about changing the setting of all subfolders and files but
again ,a right click shows the folder as readonly )
