The leading developer of software for Location Based Services (LBS) and
mobile workforce management has an immediate opportunity in Irvine for
a Senior Software Developer. This is a position with tremendous growth
potential. Expert level candidates only, please.
Our client is looking for a highly motivated and very experienced
developer that thrives on developing cutting edge wireless applications
using J2ME, BREW and other languages.
You will have a direct impact on the design and development of the
company's core products, including existing and new location-based
applications and services. You will help design solutions, make
recommendations, and participate in design reviews. You will translate
requirements into functional specifications and schedules and will work
cooperatively and effectively with other developers, product
management, and QA to deliver products according to specification and
schedule. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong
collaborative skills, and strong aesthetic values required.
Requirements:
o. 5+ years hands-on development experience in a commercial software
development environment using C and C++. (Required)
o. Experience in programming dynamic wireless applications in J2ME
and/or BREW (Required)
o. Experience with all phases of product development lifecycle,
including requirements definition, specifications, development, test,
product release and sustaining engineering. (Required)
o. Proficiency with Object-Oriented design Methodology. (Required)
o. Experience in programming dynamic and advanced graphics Windows
applications (e.g., Windows GUI applications) (Required)
o. Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
