EnableSortingAndPagingCallbacks run time setup bug?

Hi EveryBody,
I am creating a webpart programatically and adding a GridView to my webpart
programatically(runtime).

The EnableSortingAndPagingCallbacks property of GridView is not working when
i set it to true.

When i click on hyperlinks for paging and sorting they are dumb. Is it a bug
in GridView or WebParts??

If not, anyone please let me know how to enable
EnableSortingAndPagingCallbacks programatically at runtime.

Any furthur comments and suggestions are welcome.
