encrypt string (c#)

Hello!

Is there a possibility in C# to encrypt and decrypt strings? I have a string
which is passed to and ASP.NET webform as querystring. I would like to pass
that string as encrypted so that users could not see it's content. When the
string is passed to the webform it must be decrypted there. Please, could
anybody tell me, is there ready methods to achieve that? The help is very
much appreciated!

You can try creating your Custom HttpHandler and apply the
cryptography classes in .NET
