enctype="multipart/form-data"

In order to submit a file to a web server using <INPUT type=file>, I
understand that you need to include enctype="multipart/form-data" in the
FORM tag, and it appears to work ok.

But what if this is just a regular form and I am not submitting a file. In
other words, the form doesn't have an <INPUT type=file> tag. Can I still use
enctype="multipart/form-data" ? or would this be a problem?

or would this be a problem?

This makes problems with some browsers on the Apple side of life. At least
I had some problems with this setup some months ago... maybe it has
improved a bit...
