Equivalent of "friend" or package-level access?

Discussion in 'Ruby' started by Nathan Weston, Sep 5, 2003.

  1. I have a group of related classes, and I would like them to have
certain methods which can only be called by classes within the group.
In C++ I would use "friend", in java I would use the "package" access
modifier. Is there a ruby equivalent?
