Error Navigating Directly to an HTML Page in a web application

Hi

I can't find my other post so please forgive, not intentional. My problem is this when I navigate to an HTML file located in an ASP.NET application directly my error code in global.asax fires off and emails me the following error
System.Web.HttpException: Exception of type System.Web.HttpException was thrown. ---> System.IO.FileNotFoundException: "MyFilePath
I don't understand this cause I am still able to navigate to the html no problem
Does anybody know what causes this? Is there some config setting I don't have set
Any suggestions are appreciated
