I am getting following error when i am executing Fire() method of BaseEvent
Class
System.Exception: This schema for this assembly has not been registered with
WMI.
at System.Management.Instrumentation.Instrumentation.Initialize(Assembly
assembly)
at
System.Management.Instrumentation.Instrumentation.GetInstrumentedAssembly(Assembly assembly)
at System.Management.Instrumentation.BaseEvent.Fire()
KBA for the above problem is available at :
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/826368
Is it because
When you try to increase the build number or the revision number of an
instrumented assembly, you may not be able to run Windows Management
Instrumentation (WMI) events from older versions of the instrumented
assembly. When you try to run a WMI event, you may receive an error message
that is similar to the above message?
Is it a bug in microsoft product?
How can i solve this problem?
Thanks in advance,
Nisheith
