Is their a way in C# to add a new event handler in the code behind class?
I do not want to put it in the aspx page or subclass the control.

Hi Chuck,

If my understanding is correct, your question can be answered using
following example:

ASPX:

<asp:Button ID="Button1" runat="server" OnClick="Button1_Click"
Text="Button" />
<asp:Button ID="Button2" runat="server" Text="Button" /></div>

Code behind:

protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
this.Button2.Click += new EventHandler(Button2_Click);
}

void Button2_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
{

}
protected void Button1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
{

}

The Button2's Click event is not associated in the ASPX page, it can be
associated in the Page_Load event.

Sincerely,
Walter Wang ([email protected], remove 'online.')

most efficient resolution. The offering is not appropriate for situations
that require urgent, real-time or phone-based interactions or complex
