failed to install PIL in fedora core 6

I use "python setup.py install" to install PIL in fedora with python
2.4,
But I got these errors:

What should I do if I want to successfully have pil installed?

So you don't have the python-dev package.
What should I do if I want to successfully have pil installed?

Try to search into the Fedora repos for the PIL (or python-imaging). If
not, install the python-dev and compile!
