file upload with Struts or JSF

What I planned to do is using some kind of framework to do a HTTP file
upload, and providing a good interation: like process bar, or resume
transfer.

I could not find a neat solution by using Struts.Apache's
common.fileupload encapsule all the stream reading, the user cannot
deal with exception

Please give some advice.

I don't know which exception may occur with common.fileupload?

I used it in my webapp and I seems it works just fine but I find it not fine
documented about what HTML code to use it with, but I menage to do that
(with difficulties).
