As I posted below, the issue is, when a link button is pressed, the browser
blanks out and prints the word "true" on the upper left corner. It happens
about 70% of the time, so not always. These are what I have observed.
- With the web application on the target machine, this isn't an issue.
Everything works fine. Link buttons behave fine. The client is IE on my
local machine So it couldn't be a problem with my code.
- With the web application on my development machine (my local machine) and
with Netscape as my brower, everything is fine.
Go figure. So the combination of my local IIS and IE are creating problems.
Thank you Microsoft.
Is there a way to do a fresh installation of IE? I have XP and had
installed Service Pack II, after which my IIS hanged, which had to be
reistalled along with the .NET framework. That was just two days ago.
Gotta love Microsoft.
