FOP font problem

I have created PDF files using FOP.

I have a problem.
I have new fonts which I have already linked in the userconfig.xml and
the pdf recognizes those fonts.
But, when I say "font-weight=bold", the default font is seen.

What could be the rpoblem and what is the solution?

Maybe your font has no bold variant.
