Frames not working in IE

I've created a webpage at http://people.bu.edu/mwh that looks fine in
firefox, but when i open it in IE it moves the frames around. So in the
middle column there are two rows, and the top row is supposed to be
just a banner, (the frame is named 'banner'), then the second row is
the information (named 'intro'). This all works fine in firefox, but in
IE it moves the content from 'intro' to where the banner should be and
    there's no banner. Please help!
