There is little or no chance that someone who expects to attract people
with $10 for an hour's work reads or cares at all about this newsgroup.
The only effect of posting follow-ups is to further worsen the signal to
noise ratio.

Most readers of this newsgroup want to do things to fix problems. It is
a good quality in a programmer. However, it is also important to
recognize that sometimes the most constructive action is to do nothing.
Spammers want to be noticed. The meanest thing you can do to them is to
firmly, silently ignore their efforts.

1) That might fool newbies* into mistaking it
for a legit. ad.
2) The meanest thing I could do to the spammer,
is set them on fire.

I chose to reply to this one in particular,
because they had only posted to two groups.
For that reason, I think there is a (slight)
chance they may actually return to their
'emails'.

* Sure they are ignored by usenauts, but I
get the impression we are geting ever more
'blow-in/one-time' posters.

This applies to trolls, too.

Trolls want to be noticed. The meanest thing you can do to them is to firmly,
silently ignore their efforts.

You know who I am referring to.
