GAC / Windows Installer

Hello all, I have a strange problem I have come across.
when trying to remove an assembly from the GAC, i get an
error that it is required by other applications.

I then tryed to use the command line tool gacutil.exe with
the parameters '/u' to uninstall. And got the message
"Pending references SCHEME: <WINDOWS_INSTALLER> ID: <MSI>

Any ideas ?
