Generic EventDispatcher

for an EventDispather, that includes a generic EventListenerList (like
swings EventListenerList) but including also
a "dispatch()" method (like the PropertyChangeSupport). In advance to
the PropertyChangeSupport, this EventDispatcher is not
bound to a given Event-Type (like PropertyChangeEvent).

How bring this into the java.util-package??? ;-)
(or is it there and I was looking for it with no luck?)
