Hi.

I am looking for a good, low cost website host that supports ASPX pages. My
current host only supports ASP. Suggestions?

Thanks,
Brian

I strongly recommend WebHost4Life.com. Previosly I was
with some other "Cheap" hosters, which were not that good.
Problems are solved within minutes NOT hours...

In the case you go for WebHost4Life, please use my
reference ID.

I've been pretty happy with discountasp.net, although the bandwidth seems
like it can get expensive (relatively speaking) if you need over 8GB a month.

Scott..this host looks good and will bill quarterly which is easier for
me...any support issues with them?

Thanks!

OK..I signed up with discountasp.net..question..

Via visual studio/visual basic.net, can I create a new web application
directly on my host account or do I need to do that locally? Just wondering
because I am having problems logging into my account in Windows XP and
Visual Studio.NET.

Thanks,
Brian

Brian:

I develop locally and push things out when need be with the Project -> Copy
Project command. This works well with me.

I've never had any support issues with these folks. They are quick to answer
and I have no complaints after 13 months.

Enjoy!

yeah, and also 1and1.com's webmail service is rather slow and not easy
to work with.
