Help accessing .NET web application

Mike

Hi everyone -

Here is my dilemma. This is my first attempt at creating a .NET web
application. My experience is in VB6. Ok, so I have a web
application built, it contains 6 .aspx forms. I created a setup
program and installed the app on my company's web server. All the
files and the .DLL seem to be there and the installation seems to have
worked fine. However, I cannot figure out how to reference and run
the application from another page. i.e. the visitor is on our home
page and they click on a link to fire the app. I have tried <href =
"path/step1.aspx" and some other things and it always says "Page
cannot be found." I know I'm probably just missing something simple,
but Like I said. This is my first shot at this. It works perfectly
when running from http://localhost/yadda. Can someone please help as
I have a deadline that is fast approaching on this. Thanks in advance

If you're talking about 2 different web sites, you need to use an absolute
URL.

Can you please expand on that. I am new to Web Development and IIS
management. It's not a different website, I am just trying to access
the web app from our home page. Thanks again
