help reg menu in eclipse environment..urgetnt

i created the menu and now i want to do the operations of the select
and delete classes.i want to know how to check which option is
selected.(select or delete options)are in the file menu.If the select
option is selcted then how to copy the particular image(PICTURE) that
is selected.
