  1. HELP!!
    Having a problem...

Webpage has two frames, a main frame (1)into which all of the information
loads , and a second frame(2) which I would like to contain text telling the
user where they are. I have found some examples using the parent.framename
command, but I not found anything that shows how to use this to change a
variable. What I would like is a var in frame 2 which is changed everytime a
new page loads into 1. This var can then be displayed. When another new page
loads the var will change again. I figure i need the onLoad command in each
page to update this variable but have no idea how to use this.

Thanks for any help, and sorry if I have explained this badly!!

    R
