Hi,

I know the + symbol is called an ^operator^ but what is the official
terminology for the . (dot) symbol and the -> symbol?

These are also operators. Specifically, they are the member access
operators.

They are operators as well.

Member selection operators. (The former applies
to a class, struct, or union, the latter to a
pointer to one of them.)
