    Hi All:

I've just installed the newest tomcat release - 4.1.27 - and have run
into some very strange errors during the startup that I haven't been
able to sort out. I'm getting a parse error in an unknown file that
says "SEVERE: Parse Error at line 58 column 18: Element type
    "rtexprname" must be declared."

I suspect it is in the web.xml file of the context I'm loading, but
I've cut it down to a dozen lines with no effect. Since I don't know
what file is generating the error, I'm stuck.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks, Jim

Seems to me like a faulty tag lib definition file. Check
the files under WEB-INF ending with .tld

rtexprname does not exist in the DTD...try rtexprvalue
    (http://java.sun.com/j2ee/dtds/web-jsptaglibrary_1_1.dtd)
