Hiding a table row using Javascript

Mel

<TR>
<TD>
<My for element with id=T100
</TD>
</TR>

what I really want is something like:

ParentOf (ParentOf (document.getElementByID("T100"))).display=
'none'

in other words "I like to hide the row" containing my form ele T100

Is this possible ? if so how ?

"none";
