Highlight more than one value as selected in a listbox through cod

Hi

I am having trouble selecting more than one value as selected in a listbox
through code. The property "ListSelectionMode.Multiple" is set. There is no
problem selecting manually (CTRL + listitem) from the listbox. I have a
value-string (seperated by komma) which I want to display in a listbox
through code (VB.NET). Only the last value in the value-string is selected in
the list.

Any idea how to keep previously selected items selected in the list when
working through code?
