How can you hive

You can hide objects like labels or text boxes using the visible property
but the problem I have is that the space used by the object is used leaving
a blank spot.
how can u avoid that?

Sometimes also setting the Enabled property to false helps. I'll often group
them into a container object such as a Panel so I can then hide and disable
the panel instead of worry about turning on and off a bunch of controls.

css's display:none; might help here..

You don't use absolute positioning, that's how. If you use exact
coordinates for all your objects, then you end up with holes.
