I have been trying to make pages XHTML compliant - mostly it is no
bother but I have a problem with some links:
<a
href="http://www.streetmap.co.uk/streetmap.dll?G2M?X=556761&Y=146897&A=Y
&Z=3">The Plough, Hildenborough</a>
For example. The W3C validator barfs on all the N=1234 type things
above. Is there any way to encode/escape, I suspect the =, such that
the link still works and the validator is happy?
TIA
