How do you install jedit?

After I've downloaded jedit.jar and unzipped it, I got bunch of files.
I do have java compiler somewhere... um.. so, am I suppose to compile
install.class using java compiler?

long file listing, and you apparently didn't see the 1st hit on Google
when searching for "install jedit how", which I inlude here (hint hint):

recommended it for writing HTML with it.
