How does one get "maintenance copies"

Discussion in 'Python' started by Robert D. Young, Aug 21, 2003.

  1. Pardon my stupidity, I've only used the Windows version of Python and
only via the standard installer at that. However, I've been having a
bear of a time w/2.3 - I even went back to 2.2 to stay productive. I
researched the "bug list" to see if the problems I was experiencing were
known and sure enough, they are (such as the "install to a directory
name with a space" issue that IDLE has). The bug tracker mentions these
are fixed in some form of "maintenance" package. How can I get the
latest fixes and put them into my Windows version?

    TIA,

    - Robert
