How does Safari rank?

How does Apple's Safari rank in terms of standards compatability, css
implimentation, etc.? Could it be used for testing web pages for
implementation?

I use it for that, primarily. Don't go overboard though or the way back
may be too difficult. I always found IE5/Mac a nice inbetween browser to
test my work in while building, though.

It is somewhere between the poor support by IE6/Win and the good
support in Opera 7/Mozilla.
