how program skype under linux?

Hallo,
I'd like to enjoi myself with programming skype (create little extension
for skype) how can I do?
I see the url

but I don't understand well!
I use Kubunto and D-Bus are just installed.
I down load API for Java but I have difficult to use it.
I have to configure someting?

From that webpage, it looks like you basically need to send messages on
the D-BUS in order to communicate with Skype. There are a couple of
tutorials for doing this via Java. See
http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~mjj29/doc/dbus-java/ for example.
