How Publish VS.net Cont

W

Woody Splawn

I posed a question yesterday about how to publish a VS.net application to
the web and got a good reply from John Web. He sugggests using the Copy
Project option from the Projects menu. However some of the instruction he
gave me do not work in my situation because I do not have my own web server
1. Goto your IIS server and create a new web site. During the web site
creation, specify a physical folder on the IIS server for the new site.
Example: C:\MyDotNetWebFolder.

My configuration is a little different. I can not afford a web server of my
own so I am using a company called Verio. I understand they are one of the
biggest. They do web hosting with .Net Framework 1.1. Because my server is
on
the Verio site his instructions don't seem to apply. How can I specify a
physical file folder on the IIS server when the server resides at Verio?

Could someone clarify or point me to a white paper or something?
